Deals for dads: Autohub 'Dad's Mega Ride' display ongoing at SM Megamall

MANILA: This Father's Day, dads can see up close, and get deals on, various vehicles distributed by the Autohub Group of Companies, at the distributor's "Dad's Mega Ride" display that will run until June 19 at the SM Megamall Fashion Hall.

Among the automotive brands Autohub Group carries are Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, and premium marques such as Mini, Rolls-Royce, and Shelby.

The company also distributes motorcycle names such as Aprilia, Triumph, and Vespa.

During the launch of the Dad's Mega Ride display, Autohub Group President Willy Tee Ten expressed exclusively to ZIGWHEELS PHILIPPINES and sibling website CARMUDI PHILIPPINES which brands the company expects to contribute to sales growth, and the company's business expectations amid the looser COVID-19 measures. 

"The growth will definitely come from the two-wheel segment, because of the rising fuel (costs), the Vespas, the Triumphs, and Aprilias are doing extremely well," Tee Ten said. 

The Autohub leader added that the while the company expects growing demand for its motorcycles, customers would not be able to use them during rainy or humid weather. "So, we want the four wheels (sales) to also grow," Tee Ten countered. 

When asked how will the company continue business amid the opening of the economy, Tee Ten intimated: "We are hopeful and optimistic, but we need to be... conservative when it comes to the business side... you don't know what's going to happen." 

The company president cited the ongoing Ukraine conflict and the threat of COVID-19 variants entering the country as some of the factors that could affect the economy. Tee Ten also expressed that the new administration can hopefully lay down measures to drive up economy.
