Dodge Challenger Demon teased ahead of its launch

MANILA: It is rare that Dodge makes special efforts to promote its muscle cars. But, with Challenger Demon, Doge is moving out of its conventional style. The American automaker has teased the upcoming muscle car and its looks fierce and aggressive.

The company has not revealed much about the car but, a teaser video named ‘Reduction’ has been released.

The teaser video highlighted the reduced weight of the upcoming car which has been achieved by making adjustments on the wheels, steering, suspension, brakes, cabin and other components. The engine configuration is also not revealed yet but, according to speculation, it might feature a modified Hellcat engine that will produce more power. The Hellcat is powered by a 6.2-litre HEMI V8 engine which produces 717 PS maximum power and peak torque of 880 Nm.

Apart from the teaser video, the company has put more details on the website ifyouknowyouknow.com. The particular website contains a list of clues that hint towards the next set of information that will be revealed about the upcoming muscle car. Dodge has also prepared a campaign of 12 videos for the Demon and the rest of the teaser videos will be released soon.

 The Dodge Challenger Demon will be revealed at the 2017 New York International Auto Show. We hope Dodge launch the Challenger Demon in the Philippines as well, even if it is in limited numbers like the Challenger Hellcat.
