Fuel prices spike after major rollbacks

MANILA: Fuel prices will see another round of increase after the Department of Energy shared the projected movement of petroleum prices this week. 

According to the agency, gasoline prices will increase by P2.21 per liter while diesel prices will see a slight bump at P2.66 per liter.  Meanwhile, the cost of kerosene will drop by P3.53 per liter.

The said price update is scheduled to take place tomorrow (May 5, 2026) until Monday next week (May 11, 2026).
