Hyundai toys around with this motorless go-kart

MANILA: Hyundai has released a teaser photo of its edgy, yellow soapbox car bearing the marque’s logo that’s a project of their European design Center.

It features a gently sloping silhouette at a 45-degree angle with exposed wheels and a low-lying frame to give it a dynamic character.

A soapbox is a motorless, gravity-propelled vehicle that was traditionally raced by children on a downhill road. Originally made from discarded wooden soap crates, today it uses more modern and sophisticated designs.

Hyundai will release more details, including plans to make a design inspired by the traditional soapbox, soon.
