Infiniti Q30 to be Introduced in 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show
MANILA: Two years ago in the year 2013, Nissan's luxury marquee, Infiniti has debuted its Q30 concept at the Frankfurt motor show. Now after a couple of years, the company is all set to reveal the production version of its concept at the same show. Thus, this is the company's first ever compact car that will be premiered in September.
To spark up the curiosity, Infiniti has exposed a camouflaged prototype of the Q30 hatchback which shows a lot of stylings that was exhibited in the concept as well. The visible features include roof mounted spoiler, distinctive taillights and swept back headlights. As of the engine, there is no concrete word yet, however, it is estimated that this new vehicle will employ engines from hatchbacks that are produced under the Mercedes. Moreover, the Q30 may use the front or all-wheel drive as seen in many other models of Mercedes.
Both Q30 and QX30 will be built at Nissan's plant in Sunderland, UK and is believed to go for worldwide sales by the year 2017. As reported earlier, Infiniti Q30 concept is aimed towards the young premium segment of the population so let’s see whether this September will bring subtle salute to the brand or obvious attraction of the generation.
