Isuzu PH plans to sell up to 500 2024 D-Max units monthly

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) is planning to sell around 400-500 D-Max units per month for 2024.

IPC Assistant Division Head for Sales Robert Carlos shared the conservative retail target following the introduction of the model’s latest iteration.

The aforementioned number, Carlos told Zigwheels Philippines, is the same sales goal for the pick-up truck that the company imposed on itself prior to the spruced-up version’s launch.

While majority is expected to come from the 4x2 options, the new Isuzu D-Max is also eyed to tap the local 4x4 market.

Unveiled last June 21, the new Isuzu D-Max now comes with an expanded lineup (a total of 12 variations) — with a total of five 4x4-ready variants. The said variations (and their respective pricing) can be seen below:

• 4x4 LS-E AT​: P1.945 million
• 4x4 LS-A MT Plus​: P1.75 million
• 4x4 LS-A MT​: P1.71 million
• 4x4 LT MT​: P1.299 million
• 4x4 Single Cab MT​: P1.178 million​

All options are equipped with 4JJ3-TCX Blue Power engines that can provide as much as 187 horses (hp) and 459 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.

Per IPC, the new Isuzu D-Max now has a 4x2 LS-E AT option, which has been highly-requested by its customers.

Meanwhile, the new Isuzu D-Max is also offering two options under the LS-A variation, the regular and LS-A Plus. The former is outfitted with a nine-inch infotainment system, while the latter boasts a 10-inch infotainment system, with 360-degree around view monitor and digital video recorder.
