Jeep Renegade Launched At PIMS 2016

MANILA: Amidst a series of launches and showcases, the American automaker has also presented its sturdy B-segment crossover to improve its market share in the country. Yes, Jeep Renegade has been launched at the first day of the 6th Philippine International Motor Show. Renegade styling has been inspired from the classic Wrangler and with compact dimensions, Renegade is all set to make a competitive entry in the crossover market. To further add to its unique styling are its high ground clearance and “Tek-Tonic’ interior, which makes it unique in the respective segment.

Designed to meet your off-roading needs, Renegade has a unique blend of ruggedness and comfort. Jeep Renegade shares its platform with Fiat 500 X and is manufactured in Melfi, Italy. The 18-inch alloy wheels, daytime running lights, heated side mirrors with integrated turning signals and corner front fog lights are some other features which makes Jeep Renegade a trendy off-roading vehicle. In the cabin, the ‘Tek-Tonic’ interior theme features soft and tactile touch controls, 7-inch touchscreen display, automatic climate control, leather bucket seats with power adjustable, GPS navigation, multi-function steering wheel, and MySky dual panel roof.

Powering the all-new Renegade is the 1.4-litre turbocharged MultiAir2 inline-four engine, which delivers maximum power output of 168 PS @ 5,500 rpm and peak torque of 250 Nm at 2,500 rpm. The 9-speed automatic gearbox and Select-Terrain 4X4 system of Jeep, will further make the overall drive a unique experience. Considering the safety features, the Jeep Renegade is equipped with features like forward collision alert, speed limiter, traction control, hill-start assist, front and side airbags.
