Jetour Auto PH stages 1st-ever ‘Furry Friends’ Pet Day

MANILA: Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated (JAPI) has staged its very first “Furry Friends” Pet Day.

Members of the motoring media — alongside their four-legged pals — were treated to an event, which entailed (no pun intended) a series of bonding, pampering, and fun activities.

“They don’t need to say it, because they just always show it. Our furry animal companions never hold back their expressions of unconditional love for their ‘hoomans,’” JAPI said in a press release.

“It’s exactly because of their pure and innocent spirit, boundless energy, and unbreakable loyalty that we humans choose our pets to be our companions for life, essentially allowing them into our homes as part of the family,” the company added.

The event took place at Zig Café at the SM Aura Premier, McKinley Parkway in Taguig City. Both the restaurant (known for its health-oriented offerings) and the mall provided a pet-friendly atmosphere, which made for an ideal location.

Participants engaged with professional K-9 trainers who demonstrated basic training techniques, offered advice on addressing troublesome pet behavior, and provided insights into the role of K-9 units in security and community service.

JAPI also reiterated that the “Furry Friends” Pet Day was also in celebration of the annual International Dog Day, which is held every August 26.

“More than just the desire to provide each other companionship, humans and their pets grow their relationship and strengthen their ties through trust, loyalty, and care — values that mirror the Jetour brand’s own principles,” the company wrote.

“By hosting the ‘Furry Friends’ Pet Day for the media, JAPI honors the time-tested human-pet relationship, acknowledging that the joy and comfort pets bring to humans reflect the confidence, convenience, and reliability a Jetour vehicle brings to our lives,” it added.

Speaking of Jetour vehicles, the brand’s roster in the Philippines is made up of models, namely the seven-seater X70 Series (Journey, Travel, Sport) and X70 Plus, Dashing and Dashing plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, Ice Cream battery-electric vehicle, and T2 sport utility vehicle.
