DPWH plans to propose an additional P765 million for the project, which is envisioned as a four-lane flyover. The additional funds will cover the remaining civil work for more lanes as well as the acquisition of road right-of-way.
“The Molino-Daang Hari Flyover, though still in progress, marks a significant step toward enhancing transportation infrastructure and fostering economic growth in Bacoor and its surrounding areas,” Mendoza stated.
Bacoor City Mayor Strike Revilla also mentioned during the inauguration ceremony the obstacles encountered during construction, such as right-of-way and funding releases, highlighting the multisectoral commitment to overcoming challenges for the remaining road works.
Meanwhile, Cavite Second District Representative Lani Mercado-Revilla guaranteed Caviteños that funding would be secured to complete the project and expressed gratitude to the national and local governments.
