Nissan Philippines announces annual Dealer of the Year Awards winners

MANILA: Nissan Philippines Inc. registered 40 percent sales growth in 2018. And it has recognised the efforts made by its tireless dealers working across the island. Besides, the automaker also announced the names of the top-performing dealers at the annual Dealer of the Year Awards Night. The annual awards night was hosted in the honour of the Nissan dealers at the ornamental Okada Manila on April 2.

The Japanese vehicle manufacturer has 44 car dealerships around the Philippines. It's having a good time in the Philippines market since 2017 when Nissan sold a then record-breaking 5,277 units in the first quarter of the year. By the end of 2018, the company yet again established a record in both sales and after sales performance.

The President and Managing Director of Nissan Philippines Inc. acknowledged the growth saying, “With record-breaking performance from last year, 2019 is shaping up to be another historical point for Nissan as it continues to be the fastest growing brand in the local industry.” 

The Global Award is given to the best performing dealership in the country is by far the most prestigious honour of the night. It was awarded to Nissan Santa Rosa who earned it with its zeal to provide stellar sales and after sales performance.

Other Dealer of the Year Awards were categorised into large, medium, and small dealers. This categorisation is made on the basis of the dealership’s size. This allows dealerships of different sizes to be honoured and gives them exposure on the same platform.

The winner among the large dealerships is Nissan Quezon Avenue. The showroom is famous for being the first Nissan Philippines dealership to showcase the iconic Nissan GT-R. The said event prompted a stampede of GT-R fans to invade the showroom.

The Dealer of the Year medium category award was handed over to the Global Award winners, Nissan Santa Rosa who had topped the division in both sales figures and after sale services.

Nissan Isabela won the Small Dealer of the Year award as a testament to its tenacious post-sale customer service.

The Excellence in After Sales award was handed over, once again, to the Nissan Santa Rosa dealership. It has set a new benchmark for the employees of Nissan Philippines Inc.
