Pradera Verde to open 'motorsport complex'

MANILA: A new racing circuit is set to open in Central Luzon soon — which could boost the region’s presence in the motorsport map.

In a report, the Pradera Verde Racing Circuit (PRVC) in Barangay Sto Niño, Lubao, Pampanga is eyed to be the "biggest and most advanced motorsports complex in the country" and is expected to boost tourism and tourism specifically in Region 3.

The same report noted that the facility — designed by Tilke Engineers & Architects in collaboration with SpaceFabrik, is expected sit within a 42-hectare land and will feature:

• 4.8-kilometer circuit with 17 turns and multiple configurations
• Drag strip
• V-shaped pit building with 44 garages

Further, the same report shared that the construction of the soon-to-rise facility is aimed to be completed within an 18-month timeline.
