Say hello to the Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss

MANILA: Are you one of those who are not a fan of chrome and instead prefer black-out trim elements and trim pieces? If your answer is yes, and a pickup is something that you are looking to buy next, we have good news for you. At the Cebu Auto Show, The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), the official distributor of Chevrolet Cars in the Philippines has launched the Colorado Trail Boss, the latest variant of the ever so popular American pickup truck in the country.

Having a look at the exterior of the Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss, we find the pickup to featuring blacked-out elements and trim pieces instead of the conventional chrome that we have seen on standard Colorado. First up is the all-black front grille that also houses the Chevrolet badging, whish comes dipped in gloss black this time around. Then we have the bolt-on black fender flares along with a set of 18-inch blacked-out alloy wheels providing the side profile of the Colorado Trail Boss a sporty and aggressive appearance. Moving to the rear end of the pickup truck, we see a steel sports bar on the bed, a blacked-out rear bumper, and large a "Colorado" decal along with a unique "Trail Boss" badging.

On the inside, the Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss is identical to the LT variant that it comes based on. There are comfy seats with Chevrolet's MyLink infotainment system that is equipped with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Powering the Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss is the same 2.8-litre Duramax 4-cylinder that is found under the hood of other Colorado and Trailblazer models. The power figures read 200 hp of maximum power and a peak torque of 500 Nm. A 6-speed automatic transmission sends the power to the rear wheels. Chevrolet Philippines has given the Colorado Trail Boss a price tag of Php 1,368,888.
