Subaru x Michael Bolton for 'Asian Dream' singing tilt

MANILA: Subaru Asia, in association with Passion Films, collaborated with global music icon Michael Bolton for the first season premiere of "Asian Dream" on AXN on August 6, 2020 (Thursday, 7:25 p.m.).

Asian Dream is a new reality singing competition that highlights six aspiring Asian musicians who will vie for a spot in the "Asian Dream" concert tour of Michael Bolton in 2021 and as a Subaru ambassador.

Throughout the show's seven episodes, Michael Bolton and his co-host, Filipina singing sensation Morissette Amon, will mentor, coach, and push the contestants from Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines to their limits, along with other celebrity guests.

During the progressive elimination stage, the singers will undergo a broad range of mental and physical challenges to prepare them for the final showdown.

The challengers are Tyen Rasif (Singapore), Poova Sri Rama (Malaysia), Sasha Ka (Thailand), Linh Tran (Vietnam), Karl Zarate (Philippines), and Beck Yeung (Hong Kong).

Multi-Grammy award winner and viral internet sensation Michael Bolton is one of the creators of the show, and he is also one of the resident judges along with Morissette Amon.

Aside from Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of Tan Chong International Limited Glenn Tan as guest judge, other celebrities across Asia will also join Bolton in guiding the contenders as they become versatile, fascinating, and well-rounded performers.

Before the "Asian Dream" competition, Motor Image was able to sponsor "Amazing Race Asia," "Asia’s Next Top Model," and it also custom-built "Bolt of Talent."
