Tesla owners in PH now at 2k since local launch

MANILA: More than 2,000 Tesla vehicles are already being driven around the Philippines, the brand’s local arm shared.

Without sharing the specifics, Tesla Philippines shared that the milestone was reached in less than a year since it was launched in November last year.

It can be recalled that the brand already reached its 1,500-vehicle sales milestone in the Philippines as of the middle of 2025.

Relatedly, Tesla also launched initiatives to the global stage to push EV adoption. They are the Refer and Earn as well as Green Mobility Program.

Tesla Model Y in PH

The Tesla Model Y is being offered in the Philippines with a complimentary one-year comprehensive insurance coverage. Carrying a retail price that starts at P2.369 million, the vehicle can be had through monthly installment terms beginning at P38,810 (estimated daily payment of P1,152) through financing under Tesla’s preferred baking partners.

Featuring a myriad of cutting-edge amenities and safety technologies, the aforementioned model also has 2,130+ liters of storage and a range up to 600 kilometers (based on Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure standards).

Using the firm’s superchargers, the Tesla Model Y can cover 283km of range in just 15 minutes.

Further, the firm noted that it is also committed to driving electric vehicle (EV) adoption “by putting efforts in expanding the charging infrastructures and enabling home charging to enhance the EV ownership experience” in the country.

Apart from the more than 2,000 home chargers that Tesla owner currently have, the company operates three Supercharging stations (12 supercharging points) and five Destination Charging stations (20 charging points).
