Toyota PH continues to support mobility of national athletes

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) declared it continues supporting national athletes toward achieving their potential through mobility.

Recently, the Philippine Rowing Association utilized the 29-seater Toyota Coaster to ferry its athletes for training and teambuilding purposes.

Last December 2019, TMP turned over the coaster to the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC).  Before the teambuilding activities of the Philippine Rowing Association, the national athletes who participated in the SEA Games (where the Philippine team was recognized as the overall champion) also used the vehicle.

TMP First Vice President for Brand and Product Planning Cristina Arevalo stated that Toyota, being the official Olympic and Paralympic partner, supports and empowers Philippine athletes and representatives continuously. Through its “Mobility for All” initiative, transportation is made more convenient and accessible.

The Start Your Impossible (SYI) of Toyota is a worldwide campaign that provides support for the Mobility for All initiative, along with the goal of excellence through determination and perseverance without restrictions of challenges.

Previously, TMP also organized several initiatives, which aim to reinforce numerous advocacies towards the now-rescheduled Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo. This included the turning over of one Toyota Coaster unit to the Philippine Paralympic Committee (PPC).

As for the POC, the Philippine rowing team brought home more medals bagged from various tournaments worldwide. Through these achievements, the Philippine Rowing Association is currently doing its best to promote and make the sport accessible to numerous provinces and schools nationwide.
