Vinfast inks partnerships with 4 more workshop operators

MANILA:  In line with its goal of having more than 100 workshops in the country this year, VinFast has forged partnerships with Goodyear Philippines, Tire King and Rubber Products, Power Tread Services, and Marcjan Cavite.

Based on the Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) and Service Level Agreements (SLA), the Hai Phong-headquartered marque shared that the four companies will provide maintenance, repair, and electric vehicle care services to VinFast customers in the Philippines “in accordance with the automaker’s standards.”

Per VinFast, the said companies will put up the following number of workshops to serve its clients:

The authorized service workshops that the four businesses will build in the Philippines, VinFast noted, shall adhere to “stringent standards regarding facilities, machinery, equipment, and the professional qualifications of the technical teams. They will also have genuine parts for VinFast vehicle owners.

For its part, VinFast will support their partners through personnel training programs, technical consultation, and experience sharing.

“The collaboration with experienced and insightful local players in the Philippines is a clear testament to VinFast's enduring commitment to developing a comprehensive electric vehicle ecosystem here,” VinFast Asia Chief Executive Officer Pham Sanh Chau was quoted as saying.

“This marks the beginning of promising partnerships, laying a solid foundation for VinFast to better serve customers and promote a green lifestyle throughout the nation,” he added.

The newest agreements — which complement the MOU signed with JIGA and Motech — are expected to boost the after-sales experience for the brand’s customers.
