VinFast shows off Limo Green MPV, Wild concept at GJAW 2025

MANILA: VinFast is currently showcasing the VF Wild concept car and the seven-seater Limo Green multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) at the ongoing Gaikindo Jakarta AutoWeek (GJAW) 2025, which is set to run until November 30, 2025.

Alongside the two aforementioned vehicles, the marque is currently presenting its full lineup of cars, which includes the VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, and VF e34. 

“Our mission at VinFast transcends the mere introduction of electric vehicles. It is about establishing a genuine, reciprocal dialogue with the market,” Chief Executive Officer of VinFast Indonesia Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto said.

VinFast Limo Green

To note, the VinFast Limo Green is a preview for the Indonesian market. It is the Vietnamese car brand’s first-ever MPV, and it is scheduled to launch in the said country in March 2026. The Limo Green’s appearance at the said event marks its first-ever international appearance since it was introduced in Vietnam. 

In its home country, the model is a single motor setup capable of producing up to 201 horsepower and 280 Newton-meters of torque. It also has a range of 450 kilometers, according to the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC), as well as a fast-charging capability of 10-70 percent battery levels in just 30 minutes. 

And of course, the highlight of the model is its seven-seater MPV cabin layout equipped with a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a single-zone automatic climate control system, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. 

With Indonesia’s proximity to the Philippines, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to guess that the VinFast Limi Green  could head for the local market in the near future. Hopefully, it will be one of the four upcoming cars VinFast Philippines is planning to launch, as disclosed by the brand during the introduction of its Residual Value Guarantee (RVG) Program. 

VinFast Wild

Also appearing at the GJAW 2025 is the VinFast Wild - a midsize concept pickup truck that was globally launched in 2024. 

While it still carries the signature “V-themed” design language of VinFast, the Wild concept car gets a tough-looking design complemented by beefy front and rear bumpers, chunky wheel arches, and a generous amount of ground clearance. 

For now, no specifications for the concept were shared by VinFast, but it was claimed that its bed can be expanded via a “mid-gate” from five to eight feet. The aforementioned is done by folding the vehicle’s rear seats and opening up the truck’s rear cabin section.

We are hoping that one day, VinFast Philippines will showcase the Wild concept in local car events as well.
