VinFast to let public choose future car designs in Indonesia

MANILA: VinFast is allowing the public to help choose the designs of its future vehicle models in Indonesia. The aforementioned will be done via the “Your Voice, Our Future” program, which is seen to aid the Vietnamese car brand in aligning its products with the demands of the said market. 

As VinFast shared further, consumers will be provided with prepared concept sketches of concepts detailing the interiors and exteriors for future car models. The aforementioned will be provided by the brand’s in-house teams, together with global design studios. These designs can be viewed and voted for on the official Your Voice, Our Future website.  

But apart from the prepared designs, the brand will also allow participants to submit their own design ideas. The said submitted designs, VinFast said, will be used to inspire or even be utilized to develop future production models.  

To note, this particular part of the Your Voice, Our Future program is a contest where winning participants will be provided a variety of prizes, which will be announced on a later date. 

At the time of publishing writing, the voting program for the Indonesian market has already started and will conclude on October 18, 2025. The evaluation phase, meanwhile, is set from October 19-24.

For now, VinFast has yet to announce if a similar initiative will be introduced for the local market. Do consider, however, that the Philippines is in close proximity to Indonesia, so it wouldn’t be much of a stretch for Your Voice, Our Future to be applied in the local scene as well.

Latest VinFast updates

Recently, VinFast has been included in Time Magazine’s “World’s Best Companies 2025” list. The aforementioned was compiled by Time, in collaboration with Statista, which ranked the Vietnamese firm 817th out of 1,000 companies worldwide. 

In its home country, the car manufacturer also showcased its ability to provide custom vehicles to clients. This was done through the Vietnam National Day, where units of the Ministry of Public Security utilized custom-made open-top examples of the VF 9. Also highlighted at the said event was the Lac Hong 900 LX armored luxury vehicle based on the VF 9. 

In the Philippines, meanwhile, Vinfast, together with V-Green Charging Station Development Philippines Incorporated and Green and Smart Mobility Philippines Incorporated, signed a partnership with BDO Unibank Incorporated to further drive forward electric mobility.
