When it comes to intimidating stance and road presence, nothing comes close to the Ford Everest. The huge dimensions along with butch looks and design give the Ford Everest a much larger feel in both standstill as well as while in motion, thus commanding huge respect from fellow drivers on the road.
Even on the inside, the Ford Everest feels plush and premium with a good mix of colors and features it is equipped with. The instrument console as well as touch screen infotainment system feels modern and contemporary, while at the same time, the long list of comfort and convenience features do make the Ford Everest feel expensive and value for money.
All the three rows of seats of the Ford Everest feel comfortable, and while the legroom and knee room isn’t best-in-class, it still feels plush and imparts refined ride quality for longer routes. The panoramic sunroof, as well as large side glasses, further add to the spacious feel on the inside.
Macho looks and stance
Rugged and reliable mechanicals
The diesel engine with which the Ford Everest is equipped with feels mighty and powerful while on the go, the slow automatic gearbox ruins the driving experience a bit. The shifts feel a bit lazy, especially in lower gears, which gives it a bit slow acceleration figures despite having great power and torque figures.
Another slight problem with the engine of the Ford Everest is that it feels a bit noisy. The engine feels noisy on the outside, especially when revved hard. Also, the refinement of the engine too isn’t that great in higher rpms.
The big dimensions do give the Ford Everest a great and commanding road presence. However, the Ford Everest feels cumbersome to drive in city traffic conditions, due to much longer wheelbase as well as high turning radius.
