Suzuki PH to introduce all-new Access?

MANILA: Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH) will launch a new two-wheeler and it will likely be the all-new Access.

Based on the string of teasers posted over its official Facebook page, the Japanese marque’s local arm is set to unveil a new offering come October 4 at Market! Market! McKinley Parkway, Taguig.

“A classy with contemporary flair motorcycle is almost here. 10.04.2025” another post noted.

In addition, SPH also posted a video showing some portions of the upcoming motorcycle that bears a neo-classic look. “Smart is the new flex. Are you ready? Experience the new way to commute smart,” the video noted.

Such a guess complemented the documentation from the Land Transportation Office (LTO) that showed details of an upcoming motorcycle identified as “UZ125NEY.”

Upon checking, the said name was also used to identify the all-new Access.

Here’s what the upcoming Suzuki Access could be offering to its customers as stated in the LTO record filed last August 28.

Motorcycle specifications

Based on the LTO document, the motorcycle comes with the following measurements:

The likely-to-be-offered Suzuki Access is fitted with 12-inch tires for the front and 10-inch for the rear.

Powering the two-wheeler is a single-cylinder, 124-cubic centimeter, gasoline-fed engine — probably similar to the mill fitted in the Burgman Street 125 EX. This powertrain lets the scooter reach a top speed of up to 90 kilometers per hour.

Upon checking the nameplate’s specifications in neighboring country Indonesia, the motorcycle’s engine is mated to continuous variable transmission and is fitted with the following:

Suspension system	Front: Telescopic, coil spring, oil damped Rear: Swingarm type, coil spring, oil damped
Braking system	Front: Disc Rear: Drum

In terms of aesthestics, the Suzuki Access has a retro-contemporary vibe — giving the Yamaha Mio Fazzio and Honda Giorno strong competition in the segment.

No details regarding its pricing have been shared but Zigwheels Philippines believes that it will probably have a price tag lower than P92,400 (retail price for the Burgman Street 125 EX).

Expect more concrete information to be shared in the coming days.
