MANILA: The Yamaha Philippines Racing Team continued its dominance in the local motorcycle racing scene with commanding performances at MOTOIR Round 2.

    Underbone categories

    The Yamaha Philippines Racing Team secured a one-two finish in the Super Underbone LTD GP (Expert) class, with April King Mascardo taking the win after qualifying second. He was followed by McKinley Kyle Paz, who started from pole to take second after a tightly contested race.

    Meanwhile, JM Malonzo delivered a competitive showing in the Intermediate division with a fourth-place finish after qualifying third.

    The momentum continued in the Super Underbone OPEN GP Sprint (Expert) category, where the team once again dominated the front. Paz snatched the first spot, while Mascardo finished second place.

    In the Intermediate Sprint class, Malonzo added another podium finish, taking third and contributing to the crew’s strong presence across the grid.

    The team’s strength carried over to the Super Underbone OPEN GP (Expert) class, where another one-two finish was witnessed.

    Paz yet again secured the first spot for the Yamaha Philippines Racing Team while Mascardo followed in second place.

    In the Intermediate category, JM Malonzo converted his second-place qualifying position into a race win — highlighting the team’s depth across both divisions.

    In the Super Sport Bike Women’s Championship, Justine Bethanny Tolentino qualified third and finished fifth.

    Meanwhile, in the Super Maxi 185 Open category, Paz secured another podium finish by ending the heat in second place.
