MANILA: The Yamaha Philippines Racing Team is primed and ready to compete at the third round of the 2026 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) with race-spec versions of the Yamaha Sniper and the Yamaha YZF-R6.

Yamaha Sniper 155, YZF-R6 in PH
In the Philippine market, the Yamaha Sniper 155 retails at P125,900. It is also available as the Sniper 155R at P145,900.
Propelling the top-spec Yamaha Sniper 155R is a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-overhead-cam gasoline engine that is able to produce up to 17.6 horsepower (hp) and 14.4 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.
The brand’s sporty underbone offering also uses a constant-mesh six-speed transmission with a multi-plate wet clutch, front and rear disc brakes, and anti-lock braking, among others.

For power, the newer YZF-R7’s engine relies on a 689-cubic-centimeter (cc), liquid-cooled, dual-overhead-cam, two-cylinder gasoline mill producing 72.3 hp and 67 Nm of torque.
This model also has dual front and single rear disc brake setup, tubeless tires, an upside-down front fork and a link suspension for the rear, as well as a six-speed constant mesh transmission with a multiplate wet disc clutch.
