But the soft suspension causes a slightly wobbly feel when turning sharp corners. Handling is light and easy. The 2025 BYD Sealion 5 DM-i is a great car for everyday use. 

The 2025 BYD Sealion 5 DM-i is equipped with 5th-generation DM-i plug-in hybrid system. The car is hauled by a naturally-aspirated, four-cylinder, 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a single front electric motor. The combined output is 163 PS/210 Nm. The petrol engine is mated to an e-CVT unit. The electric motor is powered by a 12 kWh BYD Blade Battery.  Mileage is roughly 20 kmpl under mixed conditions, once the electric range is used up.
