I was immediately impressed by the GAC GS8 HEV during the test drive. It effortlessly soaked up the bumps and road imperfections that we encountered. I’ve been using it as my daily driver for a few weeks now, and it has been quite the performer. It is powerful and torquey on the highway, yet remains efficient in the city, thanks to its advanced hybrid system. Design-wise, it is also quite a head-turner wherever it goes, with a modern appearance that strikes a balance between ruggedness and elegance. However, I wish its third row had more space for larger passengers. But, overall, it is a very satisfying purchase.
