• About Haima Philippines

  Starting out in January 1992 as a partnership between one of China’s earliest automakers and one of Japan’s most successful automotive firms, Haima began to spring out into the car industry as a fresh take in its home country as well as in the Asian region.

  Then known as Hainan-Mazda Motor, it was a collaborative effort by the Hainan Motors of China and the already well-established Mazda of Japan. The aim was to produce quality Mazda vehicles for China. The automotive joint-venture soon ended in 2006, after FAW Group acquired ownership of the brand, making it a subsidised company. But its ties with Mazda never really went up in smoke, as it gets rebranded as Haima.

  Haima came to the Philippines in 2009 under the wings of the highly-respected Laus Group placed a fresh entry in its mantra, “Drive it to Believe”. Haima proved that fun cars do go along with the budget-conscious Filipino and has constantly been taken into consideration for buyers looking for a new car with good value.

  Since its debut, Haima went full-speed in building its brand reps via dealerships and service centres in Pampanga, Pangasinan, Baguio, Bataan, and Bulacan. Its current roster of vehicles includes compact passenger cars like the Haima1, Haima2, and the Haima M3. They also have with them the Haima 7 Compact Crossover, plus a triad of MPVs like the Haima Dropside, and the FStar PC, as well as the FStar S.

  Talking about the brand’s latest offering, Haima S7 is a compact crossover. Its latest version was introduced in 2016, featuring an imposing fascia decorated by LED daytime running lights. Inside, the Haima S7 is capable of seating five people on board with a lot of room and huge cargo capacity. Currently, Haima is offering 4 new car models in the Philippines. The Haima S5, Haima M3, Haima V70 are the most popular cars from Haima in their respective car segments.
