Jaguar F-PACE

Jaguar F-Pace is a performance Sport Utility Vehicle, so to expect much on the mileage front is a waste. But Jaguar has incorporated its sporty SUV with two great engines that help it delivering a decent fuel economy. The Pure and Prestige variants are powered by a 2.0L 4-CYL 132 kW AWD auto engine that shows an urban fuel economy of 6.2L/100km, an extra urban economy of 4.7L/100km and combined economy of 5.3L/100km.  As for the R-Sport and First Edition trims, which are powered by a 3.0L TDV6 221kW AWD auto engine shows an urban fuel economy of 6.9L/100km, extra urban economy of 5.6L/100km and combined economy of 6.0L/100km

The Jaguar F-PACE comes with an Aluminum Double Wishbone suspension at the front, while an Integral Link at the rear. For an SUV, it can deliver confident handling on twisties even at high speeds. The Jaguar F-PACE is powered by the brand’s Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology, which utilizes a 2L, turbocharged in-line 4, 16-valve diesel engine with a 48V Belt-integrated Starter Generator. This technology produces a maximum power output of 199 PS and a maximum torque of 430 Nm. It comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drivetrain system.

Initially, this performance SUV’s engine feels a bit lackluster or underpowered at low speeds. But, as you go up the rev range, it shows its hidden power and speed. To be clear, you’ll still be able to overtake slower vehicles on free-flowing highways with the F-PACE. However, to compensate for the lack of power, its mild hybrid powertrain can deliver great fuel efficiency in the city. Overall, its run feels more refined and sensible than exhilarating.

In terms of safety, the Jaguar F-PACE comes with a suite of driving dynamics and driver assistance features. This includes a JaguarDrive control, hill launch assist, electric power assisted steering with speed proportional steering, all surface progress control, lane keep assist, trailer stability assist, cruise control with speed limiter, and a 3D surround camera. 

In addition, its braking setup is also supported by dynamic stability control and torque vectoring by braking. This performance SUV comes with front and rear ventilated disc brakes with single-piston sliding calipers.
