Jaguar XF

Inside, the Jaguar XF features a stylish cabin that comes with Jaguar’s “Engineered Wood” interior finish. Upfront, you are greeted with an 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment display that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto among others. This display is linked to a 13-speaker Meridian sound system. 

Aside from this, drivers get a TFT virtual instrument cluster, a split-rim multifunction leather steering wheel, a leather gearshift with a satin chrome accent, as well as paddle shifters for a sense of manual control. 

The first row is a very nice place to be in, while the second row is spacious enough to effectively accommodate two passengers. However, seating three at the back might be an issue because of the huge tunnel in the middle. This executive sedan sports Jaguar’s signature “Noble Chrome” mesh grille and double J premium LED headlights with signature DRLs. It also comes with a chrome bumper, which helps it stand out from the crowd. 

It flaunts a two-toned silhouette, accentuated by chrome window surrounds and side vents with the iconic Jaguar leaper displayed on both sides. At the back, it has an assertive-looking rear illuminated by Jaguar’s signature hi-line taillights. Similar to the front, it also features a body-coloured rear bumper with a noble chrome accent. In terms of suspension, the Jaguar XF utilizes a combination of an Aluminum Double Wishbone at the front and an Integral Link at the rear. Like most Jaguar vehicles, one of its greatest assets is its confident and precise handling. Its steering is very responsive regardless if you are hitting sharp turns or corners spiritedly or passing through bumper-to-bumper traffic at low speeds. Ultimately, this executive sedan boasts a very luxurious and refined cruising experience both in the city and out on the open road.

The Jaguar XF is powered by a 2L, inline-4, 16-valve, turbocharged petrol ingenium engine that has a maximum power output of 250 PS and a maximum torque of 365 Nm. The engine comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive system.

On the highway, its turbocharged petrol engine delivers a lively punch, allowing you to easily perform overtakes. However, its fuel economy tends to dip when you are driving spiritedly. But, in the city, this sedan shows its strength when driven sensibly. It runs smoothly and maintains a refined state inside the cabin courtesy of its top-notch NVH suppression system.

In terms of safety, the Jaguar XF is equipped with electric power assisted steering with speed proportional steering, all surface progress control, hill launch assist, lane keep assist, trailer stability assist, cruise control with a speed limiter, a 3D surround camera, and JaguarDrive Control. This executive sedan comes with front and rear ventilated disc brakes with single-piston sliding calipers. Its braking setup is equipped with dynamic stability control and torque vectoring by braking.
