As much as I appreciated the GR86's sporting demeanor, I found myself wishing for a more polished driving experience, particularly on longer excursions. While the GR86 excels in spirited driving, its performance-focused setup comes with certain compromises, notably in terms of noise levels and highway comfort. Despite these shortcomings, the GR86 remained an appealing option for enthusiasts looking for an entry-level sports vehicle with a lot of personality and excitement. The GR86's engine soundtrack and road noise, although exciting at times, proved less desirable on lengthy interstate rides.
