2 local MSO champions to represent PH in Mitsubishi global skills meet in Dec.

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has selected its contenders for the brand’s Global Service Skills Competition in Japan in December 2025. 

The dealer employees chosen to represent the Japanese marque’s local arm are Raymond Rivera of Carworld Incorporated and Jose Irinco of Diamond Motor Corporation. They emerged victorious in their respective categories at the recently-concluded 2025 Mitsubishi Skills Olympics (MSO) held at the MMPC Training Center in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

Rivera and Irinco claimed the title of champion at the MSO under the Service Advisor category and the Technician category, respectively.

Additionally, all the finalists of the locally-held MSO will be accompanying the aforementioned representatives to the international service skills event in December.

Sales Executive Contest

• Champion: Union Motor Corporation: Jonathan Elvis Obispo
• First Runner-Up: Carworld Incorporated: Zandro Luis Asprer
• Second Runner-Up: Bluebird Motors Corporation: Allen Rench Alfonso

Sales Customer Relations Officer Contest

• Champion: Union Corporation-Realyn Garbin
• First Runner-Up: Global Excellence Motors Incorporated-Redelyn Jenny Santiago
• Second Runner-Up: Karasia Incorporated-Rea Gecale

Technician Contest

• Champion: Diamond Motor Corporation-Jose Irinco
• First Runner-Up: Gateway Motors Cebu, Incorporated-Daryll Afable
• Second Runner-Up: Carworld Incorporated-Bautista Rivera

Service Customer Relations Officer Contest

• Champion: SFM Sales Corporation-Sharizz Parangan
• First Runner-Up: Jabez Motors-Naia Tabingo
• Second Runner-Up: Union Motor Corporation-Maridin Andrei Peña

Service Advisor Contest

• Champion: Carworld Incorporated-Raymond Rivera
• First Runner-Up: Northpoint Alliance Motor Corporation-Edler Cabil
• Second Runner-Up: Union Motor Corporation-Shiela May Pamuceno

Warranty Officer Contest

• Champion: Carworld Incorporated-Allan Santiago
• First Runner-Up: Diamond Motor Corporation-Ronnel Acobo
• Second Runner-Up: Freeway Motor Sales of Baliuag Corporation- Albert Castro

This year’s overall MSO champion is Carworld Incorporated, which managed to secure top awards in multiple categories. 

To note, the yearly MSO continuously reinforces MMPC’s support for its dealership personnel. It also signifies the car company’s diligence in providing the utmost commitment to deliver the best service to its clients. 

“The Mitsubishi Skills Olympics is more than a competition - it is a celebration of our dealership network’s commitment to excellence and their role in delivering the best customer experiences,” MMPC President and Chief Executive Officer Ritsu Imaeda said. 

As mentioned above, the 2025 Mitsubishi Global Service Skills Competition will be held in Tokyo, Japan. The event’s competitors will include the car maker’s top personnel from around the globe.
