2015 Tokyo Motor Show: Subaru to Unveil Impreza and VIZIV SUV Concepts

MANILA: Subaru is all set to present its 5-door Impreza hatchback along with a new VIZIV SUV concept car at the 2015 Tokyo auto show. Subaru Impreza is the next generation car which has been redesigned since 2011. The teaser images of the concept car already reveal that the new Impreza will have more styling and aggressive front end. It will also hold a strong character line along the side profile and a large stance in the rear.

Subaru claims that the next Impreza will come with a new design language, but the technical specs haven't been shared yet. Apart from Impreza, Subaru’s other Tokyo debut is a hybrid crossover concept, the VIZIV Future Concept that comes with all-wheel drive. Undoubtedly, The VIZIV is based on the modern technology and equipped with an advanced version of Subaru’s original Eye-Sight active safety system and a new hybrid powertrain compact direct-injection turbo engine. It also holds an appealing look. It can be used to carry bikes and other utilities mounted on the exterior rack.

This concept car is not a new thing for the company as Subaru had already showcased its two concept cars within 2 consecutive years, 2013 and 2014 Geneva auto shows. The newest VIZIV appears a bit more production ready than its predecessors, making the car more advanced and appealing.
