2016 Toyota RAV4 Launches in Philippines

MANILA: Keeping up with the competition, the 2016 RAV4 has been finally launched in Philippines by Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), where the car has altogether a refreshed look wrapped well in a sporty character. The 2016 Toyota RAV4 comes in four variants; 4X2 Active, 4X2 Active+, 4X2 Premium, and 4X4 Premium.

As per Toyota Philippines, the new RAV4 comes with a youthful and unconstrained vibe where it features entirely new front fascia as compared to its predecessor. It includes sleeker grille, refurbished headlights, and fresh bumper design. The top two in the list of the variants are available with LED headlamps and daytime running lights while all of them run on 17-inch aluminum wheels.

Talking about the power inside, the same 2.5-litre Dual VVT-i four-cylinder engine rests under the hood which deliver 180 PS and 233 Nm when mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The safety front receives new knee airbags, downhill assist control system, hill-climb assist control system, and vehicle stability control system.

In terms of dimensions, it measure 4605 mm long, 1845 mm wide, and 1715 mm tall, while the 4X2 Active, 4X2 Active+ are 1685 mm tall. All these variants have wheelbase of 2660 mm. The four new colors available in RAV4 are Orange Metallic, Bronze Metallic, Dark Red Mica Metallic, and Blue Metallic.

4X2 Active - PhP 1,263,000

4X2 Active+ - PhP 1,441,000

4X2 Premium - PhP 1,863,000

4X4 Premium - PhP 2,066,000
