Yes, the teaser images of 2018 Hyundai Accent are released and it will be showcased at the Canadian International Auto Show.
Coming to the hatchback version of Elantra, the “GT” tag has been used to differentiate it from the standard sedan version. Honda, Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Ford, Mazda, and Kia are already offering their competent models in the respective segment and now Hyundai has introduced its Elantra GT to make the competition intense.
With the hatchback body style, the 2018 Elantra GT comes with more cargo space than the standard version. The cargo space is more than most of its competitors. The 2.0-litre engine is coupled to either a 6-speed manual or auto transmission while the 1.6-litre version comes with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
Apart from different power plants, the GT Sport also uses larger 18-inch wheels while the standard GT is equipped with 17-inch. It even has larger brakes and independent rear suspension. Inside the cabin, the black theme accompanied with bolstered seats, intelligently designed dashboard and impressive instrument cluster all together aggrandize the sporty feel of the driver. The GT Sports is further added with red accents to mark the difference.
The equipment list of both the cars includes a touchscreen infotainment system, optional LED headlights, dual-zone climate control and wireless phone charging system. Considering the safety aspects, the key features include pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning and lane-keep assist.
