2018 Hyundai Accent to debut at Canadian International Auto Show: Teaser Revealed

MANILA: In the spree of new launches and showcases, Hyundai has come up with its 2018 Accent teaser images. The car will debut at the upcoming Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto. Although Philippines’ current model is also due for an update but, there is no information about the introduction of the upgraded model till now.

Coming to the 2018 Hyundai Accent, it is built in the Mexico production plant with keeping the US and Canadian markets in focus. It is likely that our next Accent will be similar to the one arriving in the North American market. From the teaser images, it is clear that the new Accent is more likely to be inspired from the all-new Elantra rather than the Hyundai i30.

The 2018 Accent features a cascading grille which is the latest signature look of this South Korean automaker. The new design philosophy is termed as ‘Fluidic Sculpture 2.0’ and now the automaker has applied it to the B-Segment sedan as well. At the front, a new, more aggressive bumper and projector headlights are also evident. To ensure a sporty profile, the new Accent features a long coupe-like roofline which is also evident in Elantra.

The three-stroke glowing tail lamps, just like in the Elantra theme is now integrated into the upcoming Accent which set beneath a subtly integrated boot lip. The technical specifications are not revealed by the company yet and we believe that it will be released on February 16.

So, after 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT, we are eagerly waiting for this B-segment sedan. Let’s see how the competitor of Honda City and Suzuki Ciaz will be like.
