MANILA: Time to welcome a German luxury in the Philippines auto family. Recently, Auto Nation Group Inc, the sole distributor of Mercedes cars in the Philippines added a new gem to its kitty. This new addition is the epitome of class, elegance and beauty and is the new E-class saloon The 2017 E-class is a complete package and satisfies a buyer in every front from style & comfort to power & economy.

According to Mercedes, it is its unparalleled creation in the premium saloon segment and the said car is next after Mercedes AMG GT to step its foot in the country. Design - Refined & Ultra-Modern

Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a car built on companies new design philosophy that follows the principle of 'Sensual Purity' in every line. The car would be available under three trim heads - EXCLUSIVE, AVANTGARDE & AMG, each one with its specific body characteristics. Like the Exclusive trim would look more luxurious and modern with classic radiator trim, Merc logo on its bonnet, upgraded front bumper and large size alloy wheels resting within prominent wheel arches. Avantgarde is the one with more dynamic looks and upholds features like exterior design elements in chrome and aluminium, lower agility control suspension and laurel wreath Mercedes badge on the bonnet. AMG line, on the other hand, is sportier amongst all the variants. Engine - Fast & Efficient

The 2017 E-Class saloon is offered in three distinct engine options, two out of which run on diesel and one on gasoline. The petrol option is powered by a 2.0L 4 in-line mill that effortlessly produces 184 PS at 5500 rpm of power and 300 Nm of torque at 1200-4000 rpm. Coming to the diesel options, there is a 2.0L and 3.0L mill. The former generates 194 PS and 400 Nm of power figures, while the later one generates 258 PS and 620 Nm.

All the three engines conform to Euro 6 emission standards and are paired to 9G TRONIC automatic transmission that powers its rear wheels.

Safety - Highly Advanced & Intelligent

Mercedes-Benz is an automaker that apart for its design gives immense importance to safety. And it has taken its highly safety gears one step forward with E-Class saloon. This time, Mercedes has fragmented safety division of its vehicle into four phases - the first one deals with attributes that help you drive safe with features like 360-degree camera, adaptive brake, ASR, attention assist, blind spot assist, drive pilot and much more. The second phase holds for features that are useful in critical driving situations, like pre-safe system, pre-safe plus, and brake assists BAS. As mentioned above, E-class 2017 is available in three trim levels - Exclusive, Avantgarde and AMG-Line. Out of the lot the first two shares the same price tag of PhP 4,390,000 and as expected the one with AMG badging is the most expensive one and costs PhP 4,790,000.
