Aston Martin to highlight ‘S’ models 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed

MANILA: Aston Martin will make its return at the 34th Goodwood Festival of Speed at the more dramatic as it will showcase the marque’s most powerful lineup to date.

    A front-engine V8-powered super tourer, the Aston Martin DB 12S’s mill can dish out 690 horses (hp) and 800 Newton meters (Nm) of torque mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox with 120 millisecond shifts that lets the vehicle sprint 0-100 kilometer per hour in around 3.4 seconds.

    To match its output, the Aston Martin DB 12S features improved damper software, improved Electronic Differential, and a thicker anti-roll bar for better agility as well as Carbon Ceramic Brakes enhanced stopping power and significant reduction of unsprung mass.

    Joining the DB12S is the Aston Martin Vantage S.

    The most performance-focused Vantage in Aston Martin's sports car range, this front-engined sports car wears a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo mill that has the capacity to deliver:

    Thanks to its exclusive drive-by-wire throttle map, the vehicle can accelerate 0-100 in around three seconds.

    Further, the Aston Martin DBX S will also be seen at the iconic hill to highlight its performance-focused edge to the luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) segment.

    Powered by the same powertrain seen in the Valhalla supercar, the model will make its comeback to the scene of its hill-climb record-setting exploits of 12 months ago.

    With an engine that can give 717 hp and 900 nm of pulling power and weight 47 kilograms lighter than the DBX 707, the SUV can dash 0-100 in approximately 3.3 seconds.

    All this arrives in a package that includes dynamic enhancements aligned to the other ‘S’ models, along with styling enhancements inside and out that underscore the DBX S’s commanding presence on the road.

    Aside from the three, Aston Martin will also bring to the event the Valhalla, Valkyrie, and the new Vanquish, which is currently celebrating 25 years and in its third generation.

    The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team will also be bringing the excitement and speed of Formula One to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The weekend will see the team run the AMR25 on the world-famous hillclimb, with both Jak Crawford and Jessica Hawkins making their debut runs at the summer festival in a Formula One car.

We are, as ever, doing our part to ensure those in attendance have a festival to truly remember,” he added.
