MANILA: After a brief break from local launches, Philippine auto players once again resume their respective releases as the week saw rollouts not just for automobiles, but also for motorcycles. Meanwhile, those who have no nameplates to unbox had promos to offer, tempting car buyers to drive home the ride they have been waiting for.

Local launches
Toyota LC 300 HEV
After its debut at the 10th edition of the Philippine International Motor Show, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) is now officially available at all authorized Toyota dealerships nationwide.
Photo by Juan Paulo PapaWith prices starting at P6.956 million, the electrified version of the ever-popular sport utility vehicle (SUV) packs a 3.5-liter twin-turbo gasoline V6 (409 horsepower [hp> and 650 Newton-meters [Nm>) with an electric motor (49 hp and 250 Nm).
Equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission, it also has a differential locker, a 4x4 drivetrain, four-wheel disc brakes, a front double wishbone suspension, and a rear multi-link suspension.
Mitsubishi Xforce
A new variant of the Mitsubishi Xforce is in town, and it aims to make the model more accessible to car buyers by cutting some of its fancy tech, while still providing drivers with the experience native to the nameplate.

Despite the reduced sticker, it still offers features like 17-inch alloy wheels, a reverse camera, a six-speaker audio system, and a spacious interior.
Geely EX2
After numerous appearances, Geely Motor Philippines (GMP) finally gave the EX2 its official launch.
With its features already talked about after appearances in major auto shows, the surprise GMP has for those interested is its tempting price tag.

Suzuki Burgman 15
Suzuki Philippines Incorporated has rolled out the Burgman 15, a 150 cubic-centimeter small-displacement motorcycle that makes 14.21 horses and 14.2 Nm.

Promos
A lot of companies, too, rolled out new promos to entice customers to get new vehicles from their lineups, here are those that we covered for the week.
Toyota promo

Other models mentioned are the specific variants of the Toyota Avanza, Veloz, Fortuner, and Ativ.
Mercedes-Benz promo, roadshow
Luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz is also putting forth some good deals.
According to the brand, its promo can cut down the price of a vehicle from P200,000 to as much as P2.5 million. Respectively, the discounts are for the Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 4MATIC (and EQB 250+ Electric Art) and the EQS 450 4MATIC AMG Line Sedan.
On top of the discount, Mercedes-Benz Philippines is also giving away a 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen Replica to those who will purchase a brand-new Mercedes-Benz vehicle during the campaign period.
Roadshows are also in place to bring more customers closer to the brand.

Changan promo

It kicked off in SM Southmall in Alabang, but will have legs in other parts of the country.
Hyundai promo
Not all promos come in the form of vehicle price discounts. As such, Hyundai Motor Philippines Incorporated rolled out the Fuel Your Drive service promo to get more customers to prioritize regular vehicle maintenance.
Those who will get a periodic maintenance service or an oil change are entitled to an P800 Shell fuel voucher, a free vehicle health check, a free global diagnostic scan, and a free car wash.

In other news, Toyota Motor Philippines will resume the races for its Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines Cup 2026. The event will return to Clark International Speedway, starting on July 11, 2026.
