Geely EX2 receives over 1K reservations since Mar. 2026

MANILA: Geely Motor Philippines (GMP) is enjoying a warm reception from the market with the EX2 as after three notable engagements, the model already received more than 1,000 reservations since the end of first quarter this 2026.

During its event held at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center, the company reiterated the  growing interest of Filipino car buyers as the company shared that the nameplate holds the top position in China’s A/B segment.

Yesterday also marked the start of the vehicle’s initial rollout to local buyers, who placed their orders a few months back.

It can be recalled that the Geely EX2 made its debut at this year’s Manila International Auto Show last April and was highlighted at the Philippine International Motor Show.

Recently, the firm also organized a “preview day” for members of the motoring media and content creators to have a "deep dive" in the vehicle.

Limited-time discount

In a bid to boost the numbers the newest member of the Geely roster in the country is offered with a P40,000 nominal discount until August 2026.

With this limited-time promotion, the top-of-the-line, Philippine-spec Geely EX2 can be for less than P1 million—making it more accessible to early adopters.

Yesterday, the event gave visitors the opportunity to explore the vehicle's features in detail, try out interactive technology displays, and take advantage of exclusive launch-day promotions.

Built on Geely’s dedicated Global Intelligent Electric Architecture (GEA), the Geely EX2 offers class-leading space and C-segment comfort; amid diminutive proportions, it provides huge space for its users. 

To note, the vehicle's measurements are:

Complementing its sizing is its 4.95-meter turning radius that allows drivers to make tight u-turns.

Although small, the vehicle can carry a lot as its rear cargo area can haul as much 1,320 liters of load, its front trunk can have another 70 liters, and has 36 storage compartments throughout the cabin. 

The Geely EX2 power comes from its electric motor mounted between the rear wheels. This can deliver

It gets its juice from its 39.4-kilowatt-hour lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack that gives the vehicle a driving range of up to 395 kilometers (based on New European Driving Cycle standards). 

Outside, the Geely EX2 wears a "smiling" front fascia, feather-inspired LED headlights, smooth body lines, and 16-inch four-leaf-clover-inspired alloy wheels. 

Inside the cabin are the following amenities such as:

• 14.6-inch high-definition central touchscreen powered by Geely’s Flyme Auto with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity
• 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster
• 256-color ambient lighting system

Lastly, the vehicle is equipped with advanced driver assistive technologies that are fitted in the vehicle are:

• Adaptive Cruise Control
• Automatic Emergency Braking
• Lane Departure Warning
• 540-degree transparent chassis camera system
