Coco Martin is new brand ambassador of Chery

MANILA: Chery Auto Philippines has named television and movie actor Coco Martin as its new brand ambassador.

Martin will be featured in the billboards, commercials, and print advertisements of the auto brand. He will be endorsing the rapidly growing Tiggo crossover lineup, specifically the leading midsize seven-seater Chery Tiggo 8.

Coco Martin will be driving the Tiggo 8 for personal and work-related purposes. When asked why he chose Chery as his auto brand endorsement, he explained that the design of the Chery Tiggo models is suitable for his personality and he saw great potential in the Tiggo 8 when he tried driving it.

He also explained that one of the advantages of the Chery Tiggo 8 compared to other vehicles is its wide range of high-end features and luxurious interior. He also added that the Tiggo 8 can be availed at a very affordable and practical price and that it offers the best warranty.

The actor said that one of his favorite features in the Tiggo 8 is the Chery Smartwatch Key. Through this feature, the air-con can be turned on, windows can be opened, doors can be unlocked, and the car engine can be started using his watch. It also keeps track of his health, and it matches with his smartphone such that notifications can be received on the watch itself.

Coco Martin also stated that another standout feature is the space and comfort that the Tiggo 8 provides. He pointed out that the vehicle is ideal for long travels where he can relax conveniently in its leather seats and spacious interior. The sunroof is also large enough, exhibiting a luxurious appeal. Thus, the riding comfort of the Tiggo 8 can be comparable to that of a large vehicle.

In terms of overall driving experience, Coco Martin said that thanks to the turbo engine of the Chery Tiggo 8, the vehicle can haul heavy loads. Its powerful and gas-efficient engine is mated to an automatic transmission. He added that this makes the Tiggo 8 ideal, especially for his hectic schedule.

He explained that Chery Tiggo models are suitable for those who are looking to purchase their first vehicle and for those who want to own a larger and more luxurious car. He also noted that there is an ideal Chery Tiggo model for family or personal use; that professionals, entrepreneurs, and students can avail one by visiting their nearest dealerships or inquiring online.

Coco Martin also acknowledged the United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI), the official distributor of Chery vehicles in the Philippines, for choosing him to be the auto brand’s ambassador.

On a final note during his interview, Coco Martin said that Chery embodies the qualities that he has been looking for in a car, namely, value for money, performance, and reliability.
