First-ever 'Treffen der Ikonen' in PH gathers 100 Porsches

MANILA: The first-ever “Treffen der Ikonen” (Gathering of Icons) organized by Porsche Design Manila managed to gather around 100 examples of the Porsche nameplates at the Auto Complex in Quezon City.

The first-ever Treffen der Ikonen was held at the Auto Complex in Quezon City.The aforementioned consisted of various Porsche 911 examples of varying trims and generations, with more than a handful being GT2 or GT3 RS and Turbo S units. A few also wore the rare and hand-built Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB) body kits that were designed, produced, and installed by Akira Nakai. Likewise making an appearance at the event was a Porsche 911 Dakar.
“Just like Ferdinand Alexander Porsche who stood the test of time, giving us a brand that is beloved through generations, Porsche Design carries the same principles of innovation, precision, and timeless excellence,” Porsche Design Manila President Hans Yao said.
“And representing the brand who started the first ever Treffen Der Ikonen, this gathering is indeed a testament to his vision,” Yao added.
To further highlight the event, Porsche Design Manila, under the Adrenaline Group, put up a temporary pop-up store at the Auto Complex that showcased the brand’s lineup of chronographs, premium luggage, apparel, eyewear, footwear, and other accessories.
Of particular note were the Porsche Design Chronotimer Series 1 watches and the Roadster Hardcase luggage collections.

For its range, the all-electric sport utility vehicle can cover more than 591-613 kilometers. It also boasts the Electronic Porsche Traction Management System and the Porsche Active Suspension Management System. The former manages the car’s all-wheel-drive system, while the latter takes charge of the vehicle’s two-valve shock absorbers and adaptive air suspension system.
