MANILA: Ford Philippines has expanded its Everest variant lineup with the introduction of the all-new Wildtrak 4x4 and 4x2 trims.

Its exterior and cockpit, however, were spruced up with detailing coming from the brand’s famed Ranger pickup truck nameplate.
“We are excited to expand our Everest lineup with the addition of the Everest Wildtrak, blending the comfort, ruggedness, technology, and capability of two of our best-selling vehicles - the Everest and Ranger,” Director for retail product marketing and business growth Ryan Lorenzo said.
“It is the perfect SUV for families who want to take it a notch when it comes to their adventures and outdoor explorations,” Lorenzo added.

Powertrain
Under the hood of the Ford Everest Wildtrak trims are the familiar 2.0-liter turbodiesel and 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engines found on the other Everest trims.
For the single turbo variant, the Everest Wildtrak can dish out 167 horsepower (hp) and 405 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. The 2.0-liter bi-turbo variant, on the other hand, can produce up to 207 hp and 500 Nm of torque.
To note, the Everest Wildtrak 2.0 is available with a 4x2 drivetrain, while the Everest Wildtrak 2.0 bi-turbo comes in 4x4. Both trims utilize a 10-speed automatic transmission.

What makes the new Everest trim stand out among its siblings is its abundance of “Wildtrak” touches.
For starters, its exterior was enhanced with Wildtrak-exclusive fender flares colored in “Bolder Grey.” It also received a 3-dimensional Wildtrak liftgate badge as well as Wildtrak-specific front and rear bumpers.
Other notable exterior features of the Everest Wildtrak include LED exterior lighting fixtures with adaptive LED headlamps, 20-inch machined-face alloy wheels, dual recovery hooks, stand-off roof rails, and a panoramic moonroof.

The interior of the Everest Wildtrak was also made more attractive with “Cyber Orage” contrast stitching on the dashboard, interior door cards, steering wheel, and armrests. Otherwise, the new trims largely get the same interior amenities as the Titanium+ variants.

Available colors for the new trim include Blue Lighting, Absolute Black, Meteor Grey, and Snowflake White Pearl. The model may also come in Luxe Yellow, although Ford shared that the said color is available in limited quantities.
As standard, each purchase of the Ford Everest Wildtrak comes with the company’s five-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty, whichever comes first.
