Ford Power Promise extended for US customers until 2025

MANILA: Ford Motor Company has extended the Ford Power Promise in the United States (US) until March 31, 2025.

For those who do not know, the Blue Oval brand offers a complimentary home charger and standard installation to customers who drive home Ford electric vehicles (EV) like the F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach-E, or E-Transit Van.

“The program is designed to help more people benefit from the convenience of filling up at home with a complimentary Ford home charger as well as the potential to save money on gas,” the US car manufacturer wrote in a press release.

According to the Dearborn-headquartered company, the Ford Power Promise was developed from insights and feedback from Ford customers and dealers about the real barriers some people face when deciding if an EV is the right choice for them.

Here are some of its features:

• Complimentary home charger, standard installation at residence
• Eight-year or 160,934-kilometer high-voltage battery warranty
• 24/7 support

The Ford Power Promise is available to customers who purchase the 2024 or 2025 model year of the aforementioned nameplates.

Ford Philippines — the company’s local subsidiary — is poised to enter the country’s EV arena this year.

As reported by Zigwheels Philippines, Ford Philippines Managing Director Pedro Simeos said that the company will begin to offer models that will boost its product portfolio and cater to the growing EV demands of Filipinos this year.

Our chief noted that the possible electrified Ford models that will enter the market this year might include the Ranger plug-in electric pickup truck and Mustang Mach-E crossover.

Ford Philippines is yet to announce if the company will offer the Ford Power Promise here, or a similar program that might help its customers secure a means to recharge their electrified vehicles at home.
