Foton Metro Clark is now up & running
MANILA: Foton has been one of the more proactive automobile brands in the country of late. The Chinese automaker has been making some big strides since last year and the performance of the brand has also only been improving with the passage of time. In recent times, Foton has been focusing on opening more and more dealerships in the country. Not only the new dealerships will help the brand in spreading its reach in various parts of the country but also enable the potential customers to taste the quality of products and services that Foton has to offer.
With that said, the Foton Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) has opened its 29th dealership in the country in Central Luzon. The newly opened Foton Metro Clark is also very close to Clark, Pampanga, where the automaker has its assembly plant. The dealership will be operated by Laus Group of Companies. While Laus Group of Companies have a wide multi-brand automotive network throughout the country, it is the first time that they are working with Foton.
“It was our founder, the late Levy P. Laus, one of the most accomplished Filipino businessmen of his generation, who saw potential in the brand and eyed for a strong partnership with FMPI. In fact, he himself was still able to visit the FMPI Assembly Plant to witness the operation and production, [the> same day when he signed the Memorandum of Understanding last June 2018”, said Laus Group of Companies president Paul Laus.
Located alongside the MacArthur Highway in Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga, Foton Metro Clark comprises of a neatly furnished display area that can accommodate up to five passenger vehicles or light-duty trucks. There is also a service bay that is equipped with the latest equipment. With the opening of Foton Metro Clark, the presence of Foton in Central and Northern Luzon should increase and people looking for both passenger and commercial vehicles can grow their business with Foton’s durable and reliable vehicles.
“Having Laus Auto Group as one of our dealer partners is considered a major milestone for Foton. We are honoured that the Laus Auto Group chose to include Foton as part of their legacy. This also conveys that Foton already has what it takes to join the list of the Philippines' most trusted automotive brands”, said Rommel Sytin, president of FMPI. With the 29th dealership now up & running, Foton will now open new dealerships in Congressional Avenue, Bacolor, Tagbilaran, and Iloilo. The automaker aims to take the tally of its dealerships in the Philippines to 34 by the end of 2019.
