GAC Motor PH strengthens relationship with partner banks

MANILA: GAC Motor Philippines has strengthened its ties with partner banks by holding a luncheon at the Karrera Showroom in Alabang. 

There, the Astara-led company met with executives from financial institutions the Chinese carmaker has built business relationships with to talk about its recent achievements and share their goals for 2025. 

“This event is an opportunity for us to express our gratitude to our bank partners, share our plans for 2025, give them a preview, and align our collaboration to further grow the business between our bank partners and the GAC brand,” GAC Motor Philippines Sales Director Ryan Bermudez said in a press release. 

“GAC’s growth and expansion can be attributed to the valuable collaboration and partnership with these banks — and this is just the beginning of an even stronger relationship and continued collaboration with them,” he added. 

GAC milestones in 2024

GAC Motor Philippines enjoyed significant growth in 2024. Below are some of its achievements: 

• 2,089 units sold for GAC Emzoom
• 301 units sold for GAC M6 Pro
• 225 units sold for GAC M8
• 65-percent year-on-year growth with more than 3,000 units sold 

The marque also opened several dealerships in the country in the past year, which include locations in the following areas: 

• Pampanga
• Iloilo
• Sumulong 
• General Santos 
• Marilao 
• Santa Rosa 
• Bacolod 
• Valenzuela 
• Cavite, Quezon City 
• Nueva Ecija
