Geely Auto Group showcases Galaxy Light, Lynk & Co. GT, Zeekr 8X at Auto China 2026

MANILA: Geely Auto Group came to Auto China 2026 with a suite of showcases featuring the latest innovations from its various brands.

These include Geely NEV ( also known as Geely Galaxy in China), Lynk & Co., and Zeekr. Together, these marques cover the market spectrum from mainstream to luxury, meeting diverse user needs worldwide.

Here are the models they highlighted.

Geely Galaxy Light prototype

The second-generation Geely Galaxy Light made an appearance at Auto China 2026, which is also its first global debut. 

Presented by Geely Innovation Design Center Italy Deputy General Manager Annamaria Palmigiano, the concept car is luxurious with executive tourer-like proportions.

To note, the Geely Auto Group positions the Galaxy brand as its most globally far-reaching marque and a pioneer of refined new energy vehicles.

Lynk & Co. GT concept

Following the same lines is the Lynk & Co. GT concept, which the company notes transforms from an elegant grand tourer into a focused performance machine through a proprietary “Plus” activation system. 

It is a 10th-anniversary tribute and was presented by Lynk & Co Head of Global Design Stefan Rosén.

Aside from showing off the concept car, the marque also announced pre-sales for the all-electric Lynk & Co 10 and 10+ sports sedans. Likewise, it confirmed the 900 five-seater for China.

Zeekr 8X

As for Zeekr, it presented the 8X at Auto China 2026. 

Per the company, the Zeekr 8X uses an 800-volt hybrid architecture with a tri-motor e-drive system that delivers over 1,400 horsepower — allowing the vehicle to sprint from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.96 seconds. 

The presentation for the Zeekr 8X was led by brand head Shang Peng.

Further, Zeekr held a live demonstration of the SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) AI Digital Chassis responding to a crosswind and tire-blowout scenario, which reinforced the company’s conviction that safety is the ultimate luxury.

Full domain AI 2.0 ecosystem

Aside from the model showcases, Geely Auto Group also revealed its progression into “Full-Domain AI 2.0.”

The said ecosystem is anchored by the WAM (World Action Model) and an industry-exclusive “1+2+N” full-domain intelligent agent architecture, which coordinates intelligent cockpit and advanced driver assistance across all sub-domains. 

“One of Geely’s core principles has always been a commitment to openness and collaboration, striving to build partnerships that create shared value. It is this philosophy that has taken us from our origins in China to the world stage,” Geely Holding Group Senior Vice President Victor Yang was quoted as saying.

“By bringing our global partners into direct contact with our Full-Domain AI 2.0 ecosystem, we are aligning our worldwide network around a shared vision of intelligent mobility, one where shared technological foundations empower distinct brand identities and create lasting success for every partner,” he added.
