General Petroleum introduces automotive lubricant products

MANILA: General Petroleum has introduced its line of automotive lubricants in the Philippines.

The aforementioned automotive fluids are said to have been engineered to meet the diverse needs of businesses and consumers.

“We are thrilled to introduce General Petroleum's renowned lubricant solutions to the vibrant market of the Philippines,” General Petroleum General Manager Irene Clemente said.

Our goal is to provide customers with innovative products and exceptional service, backed by our decades of expertise and commitment to quality,” she added.

In a press release, General Petroleum noted that its products (engine oils, transmission fluids, hydraulic oils, and specialty lubricants) are formulated using advanced technology and the highest quality base oils and additives.

That said, its recently launched lineup looks to earn the trust of Filipino customers by delivering reliable solutions that optimize equipment performance and extend service life.

Further, the company aims to bank on providing good customer and technical support to help its clients optimize their lubrication and maintenance practices.

With a team of experienced professionals and a strong network of distributors, General Petroleum believes that it is well-positioned to serve the needs of its Filipino customers.

GP Gymkhana

In line with the company’s goal of providing “Growth and Prosperity” for all Filipinos, General Petroleum also partnered with Angelspeed Motorsports for the General Petroleum Gymkhana.

The brand’s inaugural gymkhana event drew some 30 drivers. Sean See and Paolo Macaraig finished first in the Community Class and the General Petroleum Class, respectively.

“It felt surreal that I was able to win First Place,” said See who drove a turbocharged Toyota Yaris.

“I did not expect to have this opportunity since it was my first time joining this event, so I’m very happy with the outcome,” he added.

Meanwhile, Macaraig — who drove a Honda Brio race car — explained that the experience was very rewarding.

“It feels very rewarding!” he said.

“There are a lot of different cars, but the GP (General Petroleum) Gymkhana is not about the fastest cars – it’s about the fastest drivers.”

The 2024 General Petroleum Gymkhana season is slated to run until October this year.
