Honda Cars PH provides aid, relief to Mindanao quake victims

MANILA: Honda Cars Philippines Incorporated (HCPI) has sent support to the earthquake victims in Mindanao. 

Honda Foundation Incorporated (HFI) reached out to the community of Barangay Lagao, General Santos City, where thousands of residents were displaced due to the major urban destruction.

HFI, HCPI relief drive 

On June 30, representatives from the foundation and over 20 Honda associates based in Davao personally repacked and distributed relief goods, including five kilograms of premium rice each for 500 affected families. 

“We would like to offer our deepest sympathies to the victims of the recent earthquake. Through this donation, Honda hopes to remind the community that they are in our thoughts. We would like to help ease their burdens, and we hope for everyone’s swift recovery,” HCPI and Honda Foundation Incorporated (HFI) President Hidekazu Arai was quoted as saying. 

Of note, HFI members include Honda Cars Philippines Incorporated, Honda Philippines Incorporated, Honda Trading Philippines Ecozone Corporation, and Honda Logistics Philippines Incorporated.
