Honda Cars Shaw dealership now under HCPI subsidiary

MANILA: Honda Cars Retail Philippines (HCRP) is now officially managing the brand’s dealership in Shaw Boulevard.

In a statement, Honda Cars Philippines Incorporated (HCPI) said the turned over dealership marked significant milestones for the brand in the country as the new Honda Cars Shaw is the initial dealership operated by its subsidiary and it also served as launch pad for the marque’s global visual identity store design locally.

Situated at 351 Shaw Boulevard corner Pilar Street, Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City, Honda Cars Shaw is a 1,811-square-meter dealership that features an ergonomic design to optimize customer convenience. This facility houses the following areas:

• Roomy display area that can display up to six vehicles
• Sales and service information area with an elevated, spacious customer lounge
• Service area with 17 work bays equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for general repairs, spare parts, light compact body and paint, and preventive maintenance

"We are pleased to introduce Honda’s new VI, which represents an important step in strengthening and modernizing our dealer network," HCPI President Hidekazu Arai was quoted as saying.

Every detail has been carefully studied, thoughtfully developed, and implemented in this new facility to serve as a benchmark for future network implementations," he added.

In re-opening the dealership, the HCRP President Noel Barachina highlighted the dealership's core commitment to customer care.

"Our goal as a dealer is to serve more customers while providing the best possible experience. We aspire to embody the true spirit of Omotenashi—heartfelt hospitality. We at Honda Cars Shaw are committed to creating a family-friendly environment where every customer feels welcome, valued, and well taken care of, building lasting relationships founded on trust and reliability," Barachina said.

For her part, HCRP General Manager Connie Salang expressed the dealership’s readiness to serve clients in Mandaluyong and nearby areas.

The updated Honda Cars Shaw showroom is open Mondays-Sundays, from (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while its service operations are available from Monday to Saturday.

The facility’s operation were formally transferred after the Ayala Corporation transitioned their dealer network under HCPI following their “evolving strategies.”

It can be recalled that early this year, the Gateway Group and the Borromeo Motoring Group took over the following Honda dealerships that were once under the Ayala Corporation management:
