Honda PH donates health and safety supplies for ‘Brigada Eskwela’
MANILA: Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), through the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela, donated health essentials and safety equipment to Don Jose Integrated High School in Santa Rosa City, Laguna as students and teachers prepare for the reopening of face-to-face classes this month.

Since 2008, HCPI has been a partner of Brigada Eskwela, supporting 18 schools near its Laguna office by donating Education TV packages, clinic, school, dental supplies, wash and drinking facilities, locker cabinets, disaster preparedness kits, and computers to provide a better learning environment for the students.
During the turnover ceremony, HCPI Executive Vice President Vicenta Balarbar said, “We congratulate the Brigada Eskwela partners and coordinators for your dedication through the years. This community is much like our home, and it is the members’ shared responsibility to protect the safety and well-being of the next generation. HCPI is always grateful for opportunities to help in activities such as this.”
Also present in the ceremony were Don Jose Integrated High School Principal I Catherine Javier, Brigada Eskwela Coordinator Arlene Gaspard, and Adopt-a-School Coordinator Patria Aclo.
HCPI stays true to its commitment to supporting people in achieving their goals. Last April, the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs were recognized at the 5th Driven to Serve Awards of the Society of Philippine Motoring Journalists (SPMJ). HCPI received a Gold Award for Environment for the “Bantay Baterya and Bantay Langis” program, Silver Award for COVID-19 Response for the “Assistance to Medical Frontliners” program, and Silver Award for Road Safety for the “Teen Smart” program.
