MANILA: As of June 2025, Suzuki Motor Corporation has achieved an accumulated global sales of 10 million units of its Wagon R lineup of models. The brand’s journey towards the aforementioned milestone started 31 years and nine months ago when the Wagon R was initially introduced back in September 1993.

In the context of the Philippine setting, the Suzuki Wagon R could become the perfect daily driver for city dwellers due to its compact body. It is also touted for its high fuel efficiency - a must-have nowadays due to unstable fuel prices.

In gasoline mode, the 1.0-liter inline-4 K12N can produce up to 89 horsepower (hp) and 113.7 Newton-meters of torque. Power is sent to its front wheels via a manual or an automated gear-shift (AGS) transmission.
