Isuzu PH delivers Class III PUVs to Ibaan-based transport coop

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has delivered a pair of NPR85 Class III public utility vehicles to Perlas RCG Transport Tours Corporation.

In a statement, the Japanese truckmaker’s local distributor shared that the two units—delivered through the brand’s Calapan dealer partner—were turned over to the Ibaan-based transport cooperative to support its efforts to enhance transportation services for the communities it serves.

The new PUVs will serve the Lobo-Lipa City route and vice versa, supporting the modernization of public transportation in the province through dependable, fuel-efficient, and commuter-friendly mobility solutions.

Ibaan Mayor Jane Casas—who graced the vehicle turnover ceremony—expressed her confidence in Isuzu vehicles.

Part of Isuzu's best-selling N-Series truck lineup, the Isuzu NPR85 Class III PUV is a modern transport solution that combines durability, reliability, passenger capacity, and comfort.

According to IPC, the model can withstand the rigors of daily operations, allowing operators and drivers to maximize vehicle uptime and ensure reliable transportation services for passengers.

Furthermore, the model—which is built on the capable NPR platform—has a higher payload capacity suited for carrying passengers over longer-distance routes.

Meanwhile, its passenger body features a front-facing seating configuration, an air-conditioned cabin, and high ground clearance.

The NPR85 Class III PUV is powered by the 4JH1-TC diesel engine.
